"Welcome to Small Business Today!"
This is our first web page virtually
as it was in December 1994.

Small Business Today
and Small Business 2000 (1995-2000)
are part of a family of programs
within Small Business School
.
Each show is evergreen; each is a half-hour
and focuses on starting and growing a business.

We are glad you are here.

Small Business Today is our first series of twenty-six television shows. Each show has important lessons -- the content is a little like Julia Child's recipes -- the ingredients for success were true 30 years ago, and these same ingredients are necessary and will be true thirty years from now.

In these shows you go with Hattie around the USA to meet
some wonderful small business owners -- Heliodoro,
Linda, and Jim. Over forty people and their businesses!
Be sure to look through the study guide for each of
these programs. There is a wealth of information.
These people are living out their dreams.

Even today, many of the programs are aired by public television,
by the United States Information Agency in several languages,
and by some commercial (including cable) stations.

The format is like an evening magazine.
The subject of small business continues to be explored
by Hattie Bryant and Bruce Camber.

Free Information! You will have the benefit of hundreds of seminars that Hattie taught. These materials were also used to write her book, Beating the Odds (Prima Publishing, April 1996). Hattie taught a series of customer service and time management courses. She also helped people clarify their goals. The free information contained here may help you decide whether or not you should start a business.
